Meet Holly

Holly Schnapf, Founder & CEO
For over 25 years, I have helped funders, companies, and nonprofits bridge the gap between big ideas and real-world impact. To date, that work has facilitated more than $200 million in aid and thousands of volunteer hours, improving lives across the globe.
But it all started in sixth grade. I sold the most candy bars for a school fundraiser, won a teddy bear, and discovered a lifelong love for philanthropy. That early spark led me to Xavier University and the Jesuit Volunteer Corps, where I embraced the commitment of being a "woman for and with others."
I went on to spend decades as a nonprofit executive for organizations like United Way and St. Vincent de Paul, while also serving on boards for the Community Action Agency, and Women Writing for (a) Change among others.
I founded Connecting for Good because I saw too many consultants arrive with grand ideas about how to raise and invest charitable dollars, but leave behind plans that ignored the real-world time and resource constraints organizations face. I wanted to build a consultancy that offers practical guidance, then walks alongside you to turn plans into results.
The ultimate vote of confidence? My very first clients were my former employers. Since then, Connecting for Good has proudly supported over 20 organizations and foundations/trusts with holdings exceeding $2 billion.
I’m here to help. Let’s connect.
